Toyota Offers Enhanced Safety

When purchasing a Toyota vehicle, new owners have the option of also getting Safety Connect. The service enables vehicle drivers to contact a dispatcher at the response center 24/7 in the event of an emergency. The service provides four different safety features.

One of the services is stolen vehicle locator. In the event your vehicle becomes stolen, fill out a police report and contact the response center. Using GPS technology, the service assists law enforcement officers in locating the vehicle. The service reduces the amount of time to find the vehicle, which may also reduce the amount of damage done.

When a collision causes airbags to be deployed, the response center is immediately alerted. A response center dispatcher contacts the occupants of the vehicle to determine what emergency services are needed. The appropriate first responders are then contacted and sent to the location.
